Description

We are excited to announce the third cohort of the Infostrux Mentorship Program for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) students.

This is a 3-month flexible learning opportunity (which means you can complete it while studying) for data science, engineering and computer science students to learn more about the data management field and gain hands-on experience working with Snowflake.

The program includes:

Access to a Snowflake course and practice sets via Udemy’s e-learning platform
Two Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification Exam vouchers
A 10-hour unpaid internship with Infostrux’s Engineering Team
Mentorship from one of Infostrux’s Engineering Managers

Eligibility criteria:

Canadian and/or permanent resident
Identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (preference will be given to visible minorities)
Currently enrolled in school in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar program with excellent grades in relevant courses.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic data management and data science concepts
Strong desire to become a data professional and to gain practical experience with a data cloud platform such as Snowflake

Program Calendar:

Application deadline: Feb 15, 2025
Announcement of selected students: Feb 28, 2025
Program kickoff and onboarding: Mar 10, 2025
Coursework: Mar 10 to Apr 10, 2025
Exams: Apr 10 to Apr 15, 2025
Internship with Infostrux team: Apr 15 to May 30, 2024
Program wrap-up: June 10, 2024

Application Deadline:

The application deadline is February 15, 2025

Selection Process:

Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee composed of representatives from our organization. The committee will evaluate each application based on the eligibility requirements.
